Where will we do the photoshoot?
I have spent the last 3 years exploring every hidden park and secret corner of Berlin to scope out the best locations for portraits. I am happy to suggest location ideas, or we can visit your favorite areas in the city! If you are in need of studio pictures, I can either invite you to my studio or bring my studio equipment to make the portraits in the comfort of your own home.
When will we do the photoshoot? What happens if the weather is bad?
I'm an early riser, and there's nothing I love more than the magic of a sunrise golden hour (the first hour after the sun rises from the horizon). However, I know not everyone shares this appreciation for early morning hours. On cloudy days it's possible to make pictures anytime. On bright sunny days it's best to work at golden hour, which is the last hour before the sun goes down. But, I'm flexible and if you have particular schedule requests we can make it work! If the weather is bad I have some suggestions for covered areas in Berlin to make portraits, or we can reschedule.
What are your rates?
My rates vary depending on your needs and my availability, but my portrait rates start at 200 euros per individual one-hour session, and 300 for couples. My day rate begins at 500 euros.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of photos delivered depends on the needs of each individual client. I will provide as many images as it takes to meet your needs. This typically amounts to about 30 edited images per hour of hire.
How can I book you?
You can use the contact form here to get in touch! I will generally reply within 24 hours. To reserve a photo session, I'll ask for 1/2 the cost of the session as a deposit, and I'll have you sign a contract. The rest of the payment is due within 2 weeks following the session. Upon payment receipt, I will send you your pictures!.
How will I receive the photos?
Within 2 weeks (though typically much sooner) you will receive a private link to an online album from which you can download your photos.
Will I hold the copyright to the photos?
The "copyright" simply means that I created the image, and thus I own the copyright. Of course, you and your network may also freely use the photos you receive from me privately, share them on social networks without attribution, and so on, at no extra cost to you. This benefit is included in your booking price. The more people enjoy the pictures, the better it is for everyone involved. Selling or obtaining the copyright to the images is not possible, but you will have the ability to print and share your images as much as you’d like.
I've never had my picture taken professionally before. What can I expect?
None of my clients are professional models. I photograph real people as they are. I'm here to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if it might feel out of your comfort zone.
